Research Areas and Facilities
Academic and research staff of the Department of Chemical Engineering undertake a wide range of fundamental and applied research. The outcomes of this research have short to long term impacts in the chemical, petrochemical, coal, mineral, manufacturing, water, pharmaceutical, and power generation industries, and on the environment. The research activities are supported by well-equipped experimental, pilot plants, technical workshop, computing and instrumentation facilities.
