Professor Do visited Curtin Chemical Engineering in March 2007 from The University of Queensland. His area of research evolves around fluid-solid interaction.

Professor Zhengping Hao
Professor Hao visited from 23 February 2007 to 16 March 2007. Professor Hao is from the Research Centre for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Science. His visit is under the exchange program of Chinese Academy of Science and Australian Academy of Science.

Professor Alain Vande Wouwer
Prof. Alain Vande Wouwer graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1988 from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons , and received the European doctorate degree (PhD in applied sciences) from Faculté Polytechnique de Mons and Stuttgart University (Germany) in 1994. The same year, he achieved a post-doctoral stay at Laval University (Quebec, Canada). He is now professor in automatic control at Faculté Polytechnique de Mons. His research interests include modeling, estimation and control of bio-chemical and biomedical systems and numerical techniques for distributed parameter systems. He visited Curtin Chemical Engineering in May 2007

Professor Mike P Dudukovic
Prof Dudukovic from WashiZhang from Wuhan Institute of Technology visited Curtin Chemical Egineering from Washington University in St. Louis (USA). During his visited he collaborated with Dr Vishnu Pareek in areas of Reaction Engineering.

Mr Marthen Luther Doko
Mr Doko from Institut Teknologi Nasional, Indonesia visited Curtin Chemical Engineering from 1 May 2007 to 31 July 2007. He participated in process control research as well as teaching and laboratory work in Chemical Engineering Department.

Mr Jono Suhartono
Mr Suhartono from National Institute in Indonesia visited Curtin Chemical Engineering from 1 May 2007 to 31 July 2007. His role was to assist with combustion modelling work involving reaction kinetics and ash chemistry.

Dr Xiusong George Zhao
Dr Zhao from National University in Singapore visited Curtin Chemical Engineering in June 2007.

Keri M Petriz
Keri Petriz, an Environmental Engineering graduate student from The University of Montana, America, came to Curtin Chemical Engineering as a visiting researcher for 3 months, from January to April 2008. Her research was on the development of a zeolite composite for wastewater treatment.
